Yvonne Melton, 60

Mrs. Yvonne Mace Melton, 60, of Ellenboro, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late Zeb and Lorene Earwood Mace. Yvonne was the former owner of the 74 Diner in Ellenboro, and worked at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department for 7 years. She was a member of Pleasant View Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Melton, Sr.; a son, Wayne Melton, Jr., of the home; and her daughter, Misty Melton of the home; two sisters, Helen Ingle of Sandy Mush, and Chris Epley of Chase Community; a granddaughter, Donna Harrill; her best friend, Russell Harrill; her sister-in-law Diane Penson and husband Norris; her brother-in-law Michael Melton and wife Libby; there are a number of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Danny McCain will officiate. Pallbearers are Billy Smith, Michael Pruitt, Jacob Penson, Sonny Penson, Mark Ingle, Marcus Ingle, Josh Earley, Chris Moore, and Benson Freeman.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
