Winona Hunt Calton, 87

Mrs. Winona Hunt Calton, 87, of Sunshine, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at White Oak Manor, Rutherfordton.
She was widow of Fitzhugh L. Calton, Jr., and a daughter of the late Kirby and Janet Ezell Hunt. Winona was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Jan Wilson of Forest City, and Donna Carver of Sunshine; her son, Randy Calton of Boiling Springs, NC; her sister, Doris Beasley of Spartanburg, SC; 3 grandchildren, Hanna Wilson, Kelly Calton, and Jesse Calton; and 5 great grandchildren, Chancellor Vaughn, Tanner Calton, Sadie Calton, Grayson Calton, and Tyler Flynn.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. The Rev. Greg Dickens and Rev. Michael Evans will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Cameron Hodge, George Hodge, Nick Wall, Roger Wall, Jon Calton, and Tim Davis.
The Visitation will be from 2 pm until 3 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.
