Willie Mae Lovelace, 85, of Shelby, went to look in the face of Jesus on Monday, February 22, 2021.
She was born on May 22, 1935, a daughter of the late Paul and Effie Bowles. She was also preceded in death by 6 siblings. Willie came from a large farm family from the Blue Ridge mountains in Roanoke, VA.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Jean Irvin; her 2 sons, Michael Edwin Lovelace and Steven Dale Lovelace; 2 sisters, Bonnie Angel and Stella Johnson; a brother, Arthur Bowles; she had many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart for her youngest great grandchild, Brantley.
A Celebration of Life will be announced in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
