William Tesseneir, 86

William Clarence Tesseneir, 86, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, March 5, 2026.

He was the widower of Eva Swink Tesseneir, and a son of the late Vester and Nadine Greene Tesseneir. 

He is survived by his daughters, Emily Boone of Forest City and Dawn Laughter of Rutherfordton; his sisters, Lora Turner of Rutherfordton, Dorothy Yelton of Forest City, and Juanita Bunnell of Bostic; his brothers, Gary Tessenair of Spindale, and Thurman Tessenair of Shiloh; his grandchildren, Faith Boone, Hope Boone, Derick Boone, Moriah Elliott, Micah Laughter, Journi Mae Laughter, Elijah Laughter, and T.J. Shade; there are 3 great grandchildren, Grayson Boone, Olivia Elliott, and Milo Elliott.  

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Sandy Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Robbie Hensley will officiate. Pallbearers are Jim Laughter, Micah Laughter, Troy Boone, Ronnie Yelton, Jamie Yelton, and Jesse Yelton. 

The Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm Sunday at Sandy Level Baptist Church prior to the graveside service.
