Vernelle Freeman, 89, 0f Bostic, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
She was the widow of Wade Freeman, and a daughter of the late Joe and Airleen Rayburn Lovelace. Vernelle was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Freeman Dotson of Bostic; her sister, Frances Oates of Golden Valley; her grandson, Robert Wade "Bobby" Dotson and his wife Jennifer, of Greenville, SC; a sister-in-law, Lola Freeman; a brother-in-law, Paul Toney.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Cedar Grove Fellowship Cemetery. The Rev. Greg Dickens will officiate.
Friends may visit from 4:30 pm until 8 pm Thursday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home to sign the register book and pay their respects. There will not be a formal visitation time.
Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
