Mrs. Tammie Thomas Milatovich, 48, of Jonestown Road, Golden Valley, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
A native of Cumberland, MD, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry W. Thomas. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and volunteered as a swimming class teacher for the Arthritis Foundation in Las Vegas before moving to North Carolina.
She is survived by her husband, Marko Milatovich; her parents, Walt and Barbara Thomas of Golden Valley; two brothers, Larry Thomas and his wife Rachel, of Bostic, and Brad Thomas of Las Vegas, NV; a nephew, Tanner Thomas, and two nieces, Ryan Thomas and Jessie Thomas.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gary Smith will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 6 PM until 8 PM Monday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
