Sylvia Spake Shehan, 66

Sylvia Spake Shehan, 66, of the Duncan's Creek Community, died Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

She was the widow of Joseph Dean Shehan and a daughter of the late George Allen "Al" Spake and Ethylene Toney Spake. She was an avid gardener; loved the outdoors; listening to bluegrass music; and front porch sitting. She enjoyed life and was thankful for God's blessings. She will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her faithful companion 'Lil Man; her brother Tony Spake and his wife Margie; her sister Teresa Dodson and her husband Eugene; She was much loved by aunts, uncles, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. 

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.

The Visitation will be from 4:30 pm until 5:45 pm Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
