Steve Stone, 79

Mr. Steve Stone, 79, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Hospice House, Forest City.
He was the son of the late Fred and Georgia Stone, and was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Ray Stone. Steve was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Dessie Stone; his 2 sons, Scott Stone and wife Sheila, of Bostic, and Kevin Stone and wife Debra, of Rutherfordton; his brother, Richard Stone of Gastonia; his sister, Barbara Quinn of Gastonia; there are 4 grandchildren, Nick Stone, Chris Stone, Brittany Stone Pope, and Savannah Stone; and his great granddaughter, Brinley Stone.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Marie Stone will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service.
