Steve "Pete" Roberson, 63

Mr. Steve "Pete" Roberson, 63, of Forest City, died Thursday, December 10, 2020.
He was the widower of Diane Brigman Roberson, and was the son of the late Tom and Irene Queen Roberson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clevie Roberson. Steve was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, and had worked at Stonecutter for 23 years and Milliken for 13 years. He was a avid dirt track racing fan.
He is survived by his son, Dale Roberson of Rutherfordton; his daughter, Heather Wright and her husband Jody, of Forest City; his sister, Lessie Whelchel of Bostic, and Jessie Pearson of Morganton; a daughter-in-law, Beth Roberson of Ellenboro; there are 3 grandchildren, Miranda Roberson, Ethan Roberson, and Olivia Wright.
The Funeral will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. The Rev. Steven Cooper and Rev. Robert Bradley will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Kyle Smith, Rodney Riles, Arthur Pearson, Avery Rhodes, Jeremy Toney, and Timmy Brigman.
The Visitation will be from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
