Steve "Jive" Melton

Mr. Steve "Jive" Melton, 64, of  Bostic, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Center.
Steve was the son of Guy and Colene Sisk Melton of Bostic, and a member of the Rutherford County Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Braxton Melton and his wife Carla, of Rutherfordton, and Seth Melton of Bostic; three sisters, Judy Crotts and Jo Ann Taylor of Shelby, and Janice Stankiewicz of Raleigh; a brother, Doug Melton of Broadway; and his grandson, Elijah Braxton Melton.
A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Colby Davis will officiate.
The Visitation will be held in the church sanctuary from 2 pm to 4pm Saturday, prior to the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Steve's memory can be directed to Guy & Colene Melton, 840 Free Will Baptist Church Road, Bostic, NC 28018.
