Stephen Allran Heafner, 74

Mr. Stephen Allran Heafner, 74, of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his residence.
Stephen was the son of the late Rev. Paul Heafner and Mary Estelle Heafner. He had a servant's heart that was reflected in his activities with Campfield Memorial Baptist Church, where he was a member. Many will remember Steve from Stonecutter, where he worked for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dena Padgett Heafner; his 2 daughters, Christina Allred and husband Carlton, of Spring, TX, and Traci Burnett and husband Chad, of Forest City; his son, Michael Shannon Heafner of Ellenboro; his 2 sisters, Pat Booth of Shelby, and Ann Calton and husband Javan of Sunshine; and his 2 granddaughters, Haleigh and Ainsley.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Campfield Memorial Baptist Church. The Rev. Owen Duncan and Rev. Phil Bailey will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 3 pm Friday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Campfield Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, 369 Campfield Church Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
