Sarah Van Dyke Watts, 96, of Bostic, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Sarah was the widow of Carlas Watts, and a daughter of the late Roy and Ellie Van Dyke. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Savino, and a brother, Theodore Van Dyke. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and very passionate about her work as a nurses aide at Rutherford Hospital.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Charles Van Dyke, Hubert Van Dyke, and James Van Dyke, all of Golden Valley; and many special nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jason Toney and Rev. David Ledford will officiate. Please observe social distancing and the wearing of masks of attendees is required.
Friends may visit from 10 am until 4 pm Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home to sign the register book and pay their respects.
