Sarah Ruth "Ruthie" DiMaria, 69
Mrs. Sarah Ruth Ownbey "Ruthie" DiMaria, 69, of Matthews, died Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Royal Park Rehabilitation of Matthews.
She was the widow of Anthony "Tony" DiMaria, and a daughter of the late Mary Jane Tesenair Ownbey and Marvin Ownbey. She was also preceded in death by a brother, C.J. Ownbey and 2 sisters, Carolyn Price and Mary Shelton.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruby Roberts of Matthews and Martha Freeman of Bostic; and her brothers, Kenneth Ownbey and Edward Ownbey of Forest City; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is planning a private Graveside Service with burial at Goode's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
