Sadie Ramsey Owens

Mrs. Sadie Ramsey Owens, 87, of Fair Haven Home, Bostic, died Monday, October 31, 2011.
She was the widow of J.B. Owens, and daughter of the late Max and Annie Clontz Ramsey. She was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church and was retired from Reeves Brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Millwood of Forest City, and Rachel Hamrick of Bostic; one son, Steve Owens of Lexington, TN; two brothers, Robert Ramsey of Lawndale and Thurmon Ramsey of Spindale; there are six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The Funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. Her grandson, the Rev. Jamie Hamrick will officiate with Chaplain Terry Honeycutt. Burial will follow in the Sandy Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 10 AM until 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
