Ruby Patterson Dockery, 87
Mrs. Ruby Patterson Dockery, 87, of Bostic, died Monday, December 21, 2020.
Ruby was the daughter of the late Alexander and Clara Long Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, James Michael Ellington; and her sister, Louise Patterson Goode. She was a member of Cedar Grove UMC and attended Sunshine UMC.
She is survived by her son, Larry Walter Patterson of Bostic; her daughter-in-law, Rhonda Ledford Hooper of Ellenboro; her 2 granddaughters, Shannon Patterson Leatherman and her husband Paul, of Bostic, and Marsha Ellington Dial and husband Anthony, of Laurinburg; a grandson, Jamie Ellington and his wife Debbie, of Virginia; there are 7 great grandchildren; her dog Bayley; 6 nieces and 3 nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Ledford will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 pm Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
