Mr. Roy F. Robbins, 70, of Ramblewood Drive, Forest City, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at his residence.
He was the owner and operator of Robbins Sawmill and Logging, and a member of Ross Hill Baptist Church. Roy was the son of the late Lee and Bertha Robbins.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Robbins. Three daughters, Ann Pearson of Bostic, Carolyn Williams of Jefferson, GA, and Cookie Dedmon of Forest City. One son, Rodney Robbins of Bostic. Two sisters, Geneva Toney of Forest City, and Dorothy Toney of Bostic. Two brothers, Hubert Robbins of Fingerville, SC, and Clarence Robbins of Forest City. Eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Ross Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Earl Godfrey and Rev. Dennis Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 2 PM Thursday at the church, prior to the service.
