Ronnie Steve Jackson, 69
Mr. Ronnie Steve Jackson, 69, of Shelby, died Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Charles George VA Medical Center Hospice.
He was the son of the late Thomas Wayne Jackson and Marie Dalton Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Freida Barrier; and 2 brothers, John Wayne Jackson and Tommy Jackson. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran and earned an Associates Degree from Cleveland Tech.
He is survived by a sister, Martha Hawkins of Mooresboro; his 4 brothers, Jerry Jackson and wife Trudy, of Boiling Springs, SC, Charles Jackson and wife Amy, of Mooresboro, William Jackson of Alexander, and Franklin Jackson and wife Nancy, of Bostic; he is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Bostic Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Lane will officiate. The Rutherford County Honor Guard will provide Military Rites.
