Ronald Lee Willis, 68
Mr. Ronald Lee Willis, 68, of Shelby, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Hospice at Wendover.
He was the husband of the late Linda Campbell Willis, who died November 26, 2015, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Campbell. Ron was a member of Lavonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons, Keith Willis and his wife Pennie, of Rutherfordton, Rodney Willis of Boiling Springs, NC, and Douglas Willis of Shelby; there are 4 grandchildren, Michelle Willis, Brooke Willis, Brittany Willis, and Emily Willis; and a great grandchild, Judah Roman.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, December 4, 2015 at Lavonia Baptist Church. The Rev. David Slatton will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Calvin Dixon, James Owens, James Morgan, Patrick Dixon, Jimmy Meeks, and J.M. Terry.
The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 2 pm at the church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice at Wendover, 951 Wendover Heighths Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
