Robert "Whitecloud" Murray

Mr. Robert "Whitecloud" Murray, 75, of Bostic, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Hospice at Wendover.
He was in the flea market and auction business for over 46 years.
He was the son of the late Maggie Green Murray and Gaston Murray, and was also preceded in death by three sisters, Viola Street, Lottie Baynard, and Florence Hoyle; and five brothers, Alvro Murray, Horace Murray, Junior Murray, Willard Murray, and Monroe Murray.
He is survived by his life partner, Brenda Ledbetter; two sons, Robert "Scott" Murray and his wife Jean, and Marvin Eugene Murray and his wife Michelle, all of Kings Mountain; three sisters, Zaciena Murray and Dorcus Murray, of Bostic, and Cleo Splawn of Forest City;  three grandchildren, Jason Murray and Josh Murray, of Kings Mountain, and Aliyah Grace Lail of Lawndale; there are are two great grandchildren, Brayden Murray and Maddox Murray, of Kings Mountain.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Mountain View Baptist Church. Rev. Donald White and Rev. Clayton Hartsell will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Josh Murray, Jerry Murray, Donald Murray, Colon Murray, Bryan McGinnis, and Olon Murray.
The Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
