Rita Everhart, 77

Rita Mitchem Everhart, 77, of Ellenboro, died Sunday, May 17, 2026.

She was the daughter of the late Leo and Pertaniel Morris Mitchem. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Mitchem. Rita had retired years ago from PPG, and was a devout Christian who played piano and sang in church.

She is survived by her daughter, Wyndy Cook  and her husband Todd, of Ellenboro; her son, Shaun Everhart and his wife Aimee, of Ellenboro; her grandchildren, Michael Everhart and his wife Ashlyn, and Stephen Cook and his wife Jessica; there are 5 great grandchildren.

The family is planning a private service.
