Ricky Sheppard, 72

Ricky Steve Sheppard, 72, of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

He was the son of the late Grady and Callie Hutchins Sheppard. Rickey was a graduate of East Rutherford High School and was a US Army veteran. 

He is survived by his daughters, Amie Sheppard of Spindale, and Laura Dorsey and her husband Andy of Rutherfordton; his brother, Wayne Sheppard and his wife Sara, of Bostic; there are 5 grandchildren, Lucas Hill, Charles Sheppard, Virginia, Cecilia, and Eliza Dorsey. 

A Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 6 pm Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
