Perry Powell, 64

Mr. Perry Wray Powell, 64, of Mooresboro, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at his residence.
He was the widower of the late Tammy Kay Powell, and a son of the late Horace and Janet Robbs Powell. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Madge McCurry, June Edwards, and Thelma Gantt; and 3 brothers, Donald Powell, Johnny Powell, and Warren Powell.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Angela Waters of Shelby, and Jackie Powell of Gaffney; his son, Jeremy Powell of Mooresboro; his sisters, Rhonda Beheler of Forest City, and Debbie Moose of Statesville; 3 brothers, Larry Powell of Cliffside, and Mike Powell and Jerry Powell, both of Forest City; there are 6 grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Cool Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Bostic and Tommy Beheler will officiate. Pallbearers are Jamie Powell, Stevie Beheler, Todd McCurry, Dale McCurry, David Powell, Chris Harris, and Wayne Reavis.
The Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
