Nona Jean Parker, 53

Nona Jean Parker, 53, of Sunshine, died Sunday, August 18, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late CSM Melivin  "Gene" Huggins(Retired Army) and Joyce Sailors Huggins. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Popham.

Nona is survived by her husband, Calvin Tate; her daughters, Taryn Evanchuk of Ellenboro, Abby Parker of Tennessee, and Danielle Parker (Danny) of Texas; five sisters, Deborah Huggins, Denise Bridges, Cheryl Ayala, Lisa Blanton, and Bobbi Nalley, all of Ellenboro.

A  family directed Memorial Service will be conducted at 4:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2024 at Mountain View Baptist Church, 3590 Bostic Sunshine Highway, Bostic. 

 Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of cremation service.
