Noel Lewis, 68

Mr. Noel Lewis, 68, of Bostic, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Paul Lewis and Mary Dalton, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Fletcher. He was a US Navy Veteran of Vietnam. Noel worked for 12 years at Rutherford Hospital, and 21 years at Spindale Mills.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Gibson Lewis; his son, Brian Lewis of Taylorsville; his daughter, Misty Roach of Bostic;  a sister, Janice Doherty of Greensboro; a brother, Dale Lewis of New Canton, VA; there are 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Roach, Ty Lewis, Andrew Roach, Alex Roach, Bo Lewis, Ali Lewis, and Kip Lewis.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Long Branch Road Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry Ruppe, Rev. Kenneth Linder, and Rev. Mike Snelgrove will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The Rutherford County Honor Guard will provide Military Rites. Pallbearers are Brian Lewis, Scott Roach, Tim Davis, Jack Conner, Kim Tessneer, and Sam Freeman.
The Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm Friday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
