Nina Ruth "Nanny" Fowler, 77

Mrs. Nina B. "Nanny" Fowler, 77, of Hunnicutt Road, Ellenboro, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Hollis and Helen Bradley, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Mode; and sisters Virl Sinclair, and Mildred James; three brothers, Jack Bradley, Ted Bradley, and Edwin Bradley. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Adrian Fowler; five daughters, Melody Evans, Melinda Devoss, Melissa Brooks, and Twila Nunnery, all of Ellenboro, and Celeste Schroder of Delray Beach, FL; her son, Sean Hoehn of Mokane, MO; a brother, Lawrence Bradley of Cliffside; a sister, Willie Harrill of Durham; there are 9 grandchildren, Jamie Mode, Bobbi Whelchel, John Evans, Jordan Brooks, Seth Schroder, Emilea Schroder, Haley Nunnery, Kyley Nunnery, and Quincy Nunnery; 8 great grandchildren, Trent Mode, Lauren Mode, Trevor Mode, Lane Whelchel, Lily Whelchel, Lilah Whelchel, Cameron Brooks, and Shawn Shroder.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church. The Rev. John Godfrey and Rev. Owen Duncan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Race Path Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Keith Bradley, James Roberson, Pete Harrill, Dusty Whelchel, Todd McDaniel, and Joe Hyder.
The Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
