Nick Peeler, 23

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Nicholas Jason Peeler, 23, of Bostic, on Friday, May 1, 2026.

He was born on September 16, 2002 and was preceded in death by "Daddy Roy" Forest William Peeler. Nicholas was an avid coin collector and enjoyed going to antique stores. He could build anything with his hands. He enjoyed spending his time at Magnolia House with his peers and staff members. He was smart, had the sweetest grin, and a heart of gold. 

Left to cherish his memory is "Mama Kaye" Brenda Kay Hoppes Peeler of Bostic; his brother, Allan Peeler and his wife Deanna of Mooresboro; his nieces, Amanda Lynch and Katelyn Ruff and her husband James; His great nephews, Easton Lynch, Maverick Ruff, and Beauford Ruff. 

A family directed Celebration Of Life will be conducted at 4:00 pm Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Crosslink Baptist Church, 440 South Broadway, Forest City. 

The Visitation will be held from 3 pm until 4 pm Tuesday at the church prior to the service.

Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of cremation service.
