Nancy Waters Upton, 85
Mrs. Nancy Waters Upton, 85, of Bostic, died Saturday, June 15, 2019.
She was the widow of Hugh Vernon Upton, and a daughter of the late Norris and Nixie Biggerstaff Waters. She was also preceded in death by her son, Keith Upton; 2 sisters, Betty Secker and Francis Waters; 3 brothers, Jim Waters, David Waters and Robert Gene "Bob" Waters.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hutchins and huband Joe, of Green Hill; her brother, Edward "Bud" Waters and wife Barbara, of Bostic; her sister, Martha Hood and husband Harry, of Mint Hill; her daughter in law, Pam Upton of Bostic; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Arrowood and husband Matthew, Robert Upton and wife Amanda, Sonny Hutchins and wife Kara, and Jill Moore and husband Lance; there are 10 great grandchildren, Thomas, Zackery, Kinsley, Evan, Wyatt, Makinsey, Meredith, Weston, Wyatt and Clara Jo.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Keys Pendleton will officiate. Pallbearers are Joe Hutchins, Sonny Hutchins, Lance Moore, Robert Upton, Thomas Gilbert, and Matthew Arrowood.
The Visitation will be from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm Tuesday in the Cedar Grove UMC Fellowship Hall prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
