Michael "Fluff" Marlowe
Mr. Michael "Fluff" Marlowe, 64, of Forest City, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Hospice House, Forest City.
He was the son of the late Jonathan and Gladys Marlowe, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Kay Vess. He was a longtime truck driver and also worked at the Little Cupboard.
He is survived by his son, Jessie Marlowe and his wife Angela, of Rutherfordton; a daughter, Autumn Marlowe of Forest City; a sister, Teresa Coker of Ellenboro; two brothers, Sam Marlowe of Union Mills and Johnny Marlowe of Bostic; three grandchildren, Cayden Marlowe, Olivia Marlowe, and Evan Marlowe; a number of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Glenwood Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bob Philbeck will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 6 PM until 8 PM Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
