Maude Toney Beaver, 90

Maude Toney Beaver, 90, of Hollis, died Friday, August 8, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Wilkie Jefferson Toney and Bertha Cordelia Campbell Toney. She was the widow of J.B. Beaver. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Daisy Murray and Mary Jones; and her brothers Dewey Toney, Carl Toney, Larry Toney, and Floyd Toney. Maude worked many years at Skyland Textiles and Parker Hannifin. She was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church and attended Big Springs Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her son, Wayne Beaver and his wife Luann of Ellenboro; her granddaughter, Jessica Campbell and her husband Brandon; four great grandchildren, Taylor Campbell, Cali Campbell, Blakely Campbell and Kolbie Campbell. 

The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Monday, August 11, 2025 at Big Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Scott, Rev. Steven Cooper, and Rev. Everett Priddy will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Wayne Beaver, Brandon Campbell, David Hall, Glenn Murray, Tracy Short, and Travis Beaver. 

The Visitation will be from 1:45 pm until 2:45 pm Monday in the Family Life Center of Big Springs Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 5083 Bostic Sunshine Highway, Bostic, NC 28018.
