Mary Morrison Hughes, 80

Mary Morrison Hughes, 80, of Ellenboro, died Monday, March 27, 2023.

Mary was the daughter of the late Flay Alfred Morrison and Celia Toney Morrison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by  her husband Dwight Hughes; a sister, Hazel Bright, and a brother Alfred Morrison.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Jolly of Valdese; her sister, Brenda Goforth of Ellenboro; 2 brothers, Hicks Morrison of Mooresboro and Carl Morrison of Rutherfordton; a grandson, Michael Toney, and a granddaughter, Cheryl Davis and her husband Josh.

No services will be held.
