Martha Ann McCurry, 87

Martha Ann McCurry, 87, of Golden Valley, died Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

She was the widow of Robert "Bob" McCurry, and a daughter of the late Grover and Ivis Wilson Bivens. Martha was a member of New Covenant Church In Christ in Marion.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn McCurry of Golden Valley; her sons, Earl McCurry and his wife Tammy, of Golden Valley, and Coy McCurry of Morganton; her brother, Garland Bivens and his wife Betty, of Forest City; her granddaughter Ashley Hull and her husband Troy, of Lawndale; her grandson Ben McCurry and his wife Jenna, of Casar; there are four great grandchildren, Jake, Maddie, Carter and Kaydon.

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, November 21, 2025 at Golden Valley Church. The Rev. Tony McKinney will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Dale Ramsey, Sam Lawing, Troy Hull, Ben McCurry, Ricky Cash, and Chris Boone. 

The Visitation will be from 12:15 pm until 1:45 pm Friday at the church prior to the service.
