Martha Billingsley, 82

Martha Billingsley, 82, of Ellenboro, died Monday, January 3, 2022.

She was the widow of Horace Billingsley, and a daughter of the late Grady and Callie Sheppard. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Lee Ponton; and a brother, Jack Sheppard. Martha was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Martha was an exemplary woman of faith. She loved the Lord, her family and her church families. We would like to thank the dear, loving friends who across the years were so faithful to visit and care for Martha, they are too numerous to mention.

She is survived by her son, Michael Billingsley and his wife Anne B. Billingsley, of Ellenboro; two brothers, Wayne Sheppard and his wife Sara, of Bostic, and Ricky Sheppard of Ellenboro; and her "adopted" granddaughter, Morgan Conner Drummond; brother-in-law Bob Billingsley and his wife Anne, of Bostic; sisters-in-law, Sybil Billingsley and Kay Sheppard.

The Funeral will be conducted at 3 pm Friday, January 7, 2022 at Victory Baptist Church. The Rev. Johnny McCarty and Rev. Ken Linder will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Philbeck will officiate at the graveside service. Pallbearers are Brian Lawson, Preston Scruggs, Jonathan Drummond, Randy Ponton, Larry Conner, and Harold Bailey.

The Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm Friday in the church prior to the service.
