Marjorie Motley

Mrs. Marjorie Harrison Motley, 87, of White Oak Manor, Rutherfordton, died Thursday, March 6, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late John and Lizzie Atchley Harrison. She was retired as a bookkeeper from Cowan Tire & Battery. She was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Citizens Group and a member of the United Methodist Women for 30 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Kay Jones of Ellenboro, and Debra Miller and her husband Wayne of Bostic; a son, Henry Stephen Motley of Bostic; there are five grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. David Hawkins will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Harrison, Larry Pope, Hugh Street, Buster Burgin, David Miller, Ben Miller, and Gene Ashburn.
The Visitation will be from 4 pm until 6 pm Friday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
