Maria Lota Grindstaff, 68

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Lota Grindstaff, 68, of Forest City, on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
She was the daughter of Condcordia Tepait of Bogo City, Phillipines and the late Carlos Tepait. She loved to sing, praise the Lord, cook, sew, and read the Bible. Marie will be missed greatly by those who loved her and those whose lives she touched by her Godliness, generosity, kindness, and love.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years, Larry Grindstaff; her daughter, Christy Streets and husband Daniel, of Sydney, Australia; her granddaughter, Audrey Streets; her 5 sisters, Thresa D'assalenaux of Long Beach, CA, Agnes Buhyoff and husband Greg, and Irma Campos and husband Sam, all of Las Vegas, NV; Olivia Rettke  and husband Gordon, of Madison, AL, and Alice Martelli of Sydney, Australia; and her 2 brothers, Thelou Tepait and wife Lucia of Las Vegas, NV, and Romy Tepait and wife Armijen, of Sydney, Australia; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a tribute in memory of a woman who truly adored her Maker, loved her family and friends, and lived a most Christian life, are asked to make memorials to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
