Lynn Young, 45
Mrs. Lynn Chapman Young, 45, of Bostic, died Monday, September 14, 2015.
She was the daughter of Faye Blanton Chapman of Shelby and the late Flay Mack Chapman. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Angela Parker and Brenda Charlene Chapman. Lynn was a former member of the Bostic VFD, Rutherford County Rescue and Boiling Springs Rescue. Lynn worked at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, and loved all animals.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Young; three daughters, Hope Roper, Jessica Roper, and Mary Beth Roper, all of Bostic; a son, Dyson Young of Bostic; her sister, Glenda Sandefur and her husband Ricky, of Middlesex, NC; her brother, Scott Chapman and his wife Tammy, of Bostic; and a grandson, Austin Newton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Sunshine United Methodist Church. The Rev. Keyes Pendleton, Rev. Melinda Penry, and Rev. Laurie Knoespel will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Friday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
