Leslie Michelle Hawkins, 16, of Ellenboro, North Carolina, daughter of Shelly Parker Brooks and George Brooks and Benny Hawkins, and a 10th grade student at East Rutherford High School, died on Sunday, March 25, 2001.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 2001, 5-8 p.m., at Plainview Baptist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, 11 a.m., at the church, officiated by Dr. Robert Toney. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to PATH Shelter, P.O. Box 845, Spindale, NC 28160. Arrangements entrusted to Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home, Bostic, North Carolina.
