Mrs. Lennie Atchley Jones, 83, of Forest City, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Pannie Atchley, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Atchley; and a sister, Mary Kimbrell. She was a member of Walls Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a GA Leader, WMU Director, and served on several committees.
She is survived by her husband, Henry "Ted" Jones Sr; her son, Henry Jones Jr.  and his wife Cynthia,  of Ellenboro; two daughters, Judy Jones of Forest City and Sherry Bradley of Spindale; two sisters, Geneva Wilson of Forest City, and Johnnie Sue Conner of Spindale;two brothers, Ray Atchley of Winston-Salem, and Charles Atchley of Bostic. There are five grandchildren, Crissy Wilson, Tara Palmer, Lee Jones, Donald Bradley, and Chad Bradley; and five great grandchildren, Hayden Wilson, Chase Wilson, Alexis Smolley, Gavin Palmer, and Alea Bradley.
The Funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Walls Baptist Church. Rev. David Philbeck and Rev. Cecil Ballard will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Perry Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be David Hodge, Donald Bradley, Jr, Chad Bradley, Doyle Hollifield, Kollin Byers, and Danny Wells.
The Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
