Mrs. Lena M. Krueger, 93, of 1340 Salem Church Road, Bostic, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at Willow Ridge Nursing Center.
She was the widow of Louis Krueger, and daughter of the late Henry and Lena Hildebrandt. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Krueger, a grandson, Randy A. Helton, her brothers John Hildebrandt, and Vincent Hildebrandt, her sisters Lorraine Stevens, Catherine Ledvinka, and Helen Hildebrandt.
She is survived by one daughter, Helen Helton and her husband Don Helton, Sr., of Bostic. One sister, Louise Jones of Baltimore, MD. Her grandchildren, Donna Wright, Susan Morrow, Rev. Donald Helton, Jr, John Krueger, and Danny Krueger. Six great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 at Walls Baptist Church. Rev. Cecil Ballard, Rev. Michael Perdue, and Rev. Brent Frady will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday at the church, prior to the service. The body will lie in state during the visitation hour.
Memorials may be made to Willow Ridge Nursing Center, 237 Tryon Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
