Larry Braddie Toney

Mr. Larry Braddie Toney, 62, of 233 Medford Lane, Tryon, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011.
He was the son of the late W.J. and Bertha Toney. He was a member of Golden Valley Missionary Methodist Church was an employee of Sears Holding Incorporated for 42 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Toney; three sons, Larry Toney of Ellenboro, Alan Toney of Sunshine, and Andrew Toney of Hawaii; a daughter, Marisa Toney of Forest City; a stepson, Jack Smith of Mooresboro; a stepdaughter, Louann Scates of Chesnee; three brothers, Dewey Toney and Carl Toney, both of Bostic, and Floyd Toney of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Mary Jones of Bostic, and Maude Towery of Forest City; Four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and six step grandchildren.
The Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Golden Valley Missionary Methodist Church. Rev. Lamar Hewitt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
