Mr. Kenneth Eugene Ervin, 58, of Bostic, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
He was the son of the late Eugene Ervin and Dorothy Ervin Seay. Kenneth was a member of Chase Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Teena Horn Ervin; his sons, Wayne Eugene Ervin and his wife Elizabeth Jo, of Greenville, SC, Rev. Joseph Ervin and his wife Liz, and James Daniel Ervin and his wife Shanna, all of Forest City; his daughter, Pamela Williams and husband Allen, of Forest City; his brother, Ronnie Ervin of Polkville; there are 3 half sisters, Rebecca Quinn of Cowpens, SC, Rachel Thomas of Woodruff, SC, Gloria Holden of Winter Garden, FL, and other half siblings; there are 10 grandchildren, J.J., Gabby, Esther, Kenny, Grace, Ki-Ki, Cole, Jayda, Emma, and Bryson.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, August 7, 2020 at Chase Baptist Church. The Rev. Scott Butler, Rev. Joseph Ervin and Rev. Jason Toney will officiate.
Kenneth will lie in state from 4 pm until 7 pm Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Autism Society of North Carolina, Rutherford County Chapter, 5121 Kingdom Way, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27607.
