Johanna Ruppe, 81

Johanna Lillian Ruppe, 81, of Spindale, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, SC after a long illness.

Johanna was the daughter of the late Garland and Guynell Greene Ruppe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Ruppe; and her aunt Alice Fortune.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Teresa Ramsey; and her nephew Anthony Ramsey, both of Spindale.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:30 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Bostic Cemetery, 764 Bostic Sunshine Highway, Bostic. The Rev. Jason Toney will officiate.  

Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
