JoAnn Gruppi Harrelson, 89

JoAnn Gruppi Harrelson, 89, of Caroleen, died Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

She was the widow of Wiley L. Harrelson, Sr., and a daughter of the late John and Carmel Gruppi. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jarrad Anthony Carroll; her brother, John Gruppi, Jr; and her sisters Clara Farris and Linda Martin. JoAnn was a veteran of the US Army during Korea, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. 

She is survived by her son, Skip Harrelson and lifelong partner Connie Bradley of Caroleen; her daughters, Sandra Harrelson of Caroleen, and Marie Harrelson and partner Joe Jameson of Claremore, OK; her sisters, Angela Stewart of Ohio, Julia Kraft, Carmella Burkhart and her husband Bob, Barbara Hair and her husband Richard, and Mary Weaver and her husband John, all of Arizona, and Regina Combs of Kentucky; there are 4 grandchildren, Jacob Aaron Carroll, Debra LeNeya Luck, John Wiley Thompson, and Maria JoAnna Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. 

A private burial was conducted at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Deacon Andy Cilone officiating.
