Jessie Mae Brackett

Mrs. Jessie Mae Lane Brackett, 82, of Cleveland County, originally from Rutherford County, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House.
She was the widow of Curtis Hoover Brackett, and daughter of the late Spurgeon and Dora Epley Lane. She was also preceded in death by a son, Curtis Hoover "Butch" Brackett. She was a member of First Broad Baptist Church, and attended the Life Enrichment Center of Shelby.
She is survived by one son, Carl Wayne Brackett and his wife Dianne, of Shelby; three daughters, Ethel Brackett of Morganton, Patsy Bryan and her husband Mike, of Raleigh, and Janie Sanders and her husband Jerry, of Forest City; a daughter in law, Brenda Brackett of Morganton; two brothers, Burl Lane of Icard, and Floyd Lane of Morganton; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, February 5, 2011at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Battle and Rev. Kevin Towery will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service, at other times the family will gather at the residence of Janie Sanders, at 158 Oak Hill Drive, Forest City.
Memorials may be made to the Life Enrichment Center, 110 Life Enrichment Center Blvd, Shelby, NC 21850, or Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
