Jerry Dean Walker, 76

Jerry Dean Walker, 76, of Golden Valley, died Thursday, June 5, 2025.

He was the son of the late Geddy and Callie Carpenter Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Wendy Walker; a sister, Margaret Towery; and his brothers Jimmy Walker and Bobby Walker. Jerry and his daughter Wendy had loved to go to horse shows and competitions. 

He is survived by his sisters, Pauline Biggerstaff and her husband Ray, of Golden Valley, and Merle Tucker and her husband Belton, of Lincolnton; the mother of his late daughter, Brenda Walker of Golden Valley; and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, June 9, 2025 at Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. The Rev Tommy Cook will officiate and Rev. Allen Terry will perform a solo. Pallbearers are Cliff Biggerstaff, Mike Towery, Todd McCurry, Ricky Walker, and Dale McCurry.
