Jerry Neely, 62

Jerry Leon Neely, 62, of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Mission Health, Asheville.

He was the son of Annie Fredell Neely of Ellenboro, and the late Billy Neely. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Rochester Neely; and a brother, Gary Neely.  Jerry was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Robin Neely; his daughter, Angel Neely and her husband Chris Bledsoe; his 2 sons, Chris Neely and Dusty Neely, all of Ellenboro; a stepdaughter, Khristina Moss; his brothers, Wayne Neely and his wife Kathy, and Billy Neely and his wife Christy, all of Ellenboro; there are 8 grandchildren; and a special friend, Lisa Willis.

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. The Rev. Scott Henson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Christopher Bledsoe, Shadow Kenny Owens, Boo James Canipe, Craig Crocker, Robert Rollins, Larry Bailey, Lee Neely, and Damien Neely.

The Visitation will be from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm Saturday at the church prior to the service.
