Jennifer Brown Owens, 75
Mrs. Jennifer Brown Owens, 75, of Bostic, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Fair Haven Home, Bostic, after an extended illness.
She was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Myrtle Monfredo Brown, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Melvin Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jerry Dean Owens; her sister, Betty B. Doggett of Irmo, SC; and Betty's children, James Edward Doggett(Jed) of Green Creek, and Laine Elizabeth Doggett of Leonardtown, MD; her brother, Charles Jerry Brown (Patti) of Green Creek; sister in law, Phyllis H. Brown, and Phyllis' sons Robert Charles Brown (Tiki) and Joseph Franklin Brown of Spartanburg, SC; brother-in-law, Danny Owens(Sarah) and his son, Reid Owens.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, July 12, 2019 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Hodgens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Charles Brown, Jed Doggett, Reid Owens, and Robert Brown.
The Visitation will be from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
