Jean Norville Pittillo, 89
Jean Norville Pittillo, 89, of Bostic, died Friday, May 3, 2024 at her home.
She was the widow of Hoyt Lee Pittillo, and a daughter of the late William Edgar Norville and Bessie Hutchins Norville and was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters; and two stepsons, Sam Pittillo and Mike Pittillo. Jean was a member of Brittain Presyterian Church. She worked as a seamstress and was a native of Rutherford County.
She is survived by her niece, Brenda Ritch; a stepson, Steve Pittillo; and her dear friend Christine Hutchins.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Brittain Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dick Hood will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 2: 45 pm Wednesday in the church sanctuary prior to the graveside service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
