Barry Franklin, 69

Barry Franklin, 69, of Bostic, died Thursday, August 4, 2022.

He was the son of Reba Franklin of Bostic and the late JB Franklin.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Franklin; his daughters, Buffy Elliott and her husband Danny of Rutherfordton, Abreainn Terry and her husband Rev Allen Terry of Caroleen, and Renea Sturgeon of Bostic; there are 5 sons, Jody Franklin and his wife Debbie of Ellenboro, Justin Franklin, Matthew Franklin, Mark Franklin and his wife Makayla, and C.J. Sturgeon, all of Bostic; 2 stepsons, Shannon Parker  and Brian Parker of Caroleen; his sisters, Sonya Cash and Myra Thompson and her husband Tim, both of Bostic; there are 13 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A family conducted Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church. The Rev. Allen Terry will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the service.
