Mr. Hoyle Edward Bowen, 58, of Centennial Road, Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012.
He was son of the late Glen Bowen Jr and Rosie Baynard Bowen. He was a skidder driver for a logging company, and a Baptist.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessie Bowen of Marion; two sisters, Barbara Smith and Lorie Sullivan, both of Rutherfordton; five brothers, Bobby Bowen, Jimmy Bowen, and Roy Bowen, all of Rutherfordton, and Jerry Bowen and Ronnie Bowen, both of Shelby.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Bowen Cemetery, on Glen Drive off of Centennial Road, Rutherfordton. Rev. Paul Nelon, Rev. Dennis Yelton, and Rev. Brian Nelon will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
