George L. Head, 64

George L. Head, 64, of Lawndale, died Saturday, August 3, 2024.

He was the son of the late George("Junior") and Jeanette Russ Head, and was also preceded in death by a stepson, Christopher St. Clair.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Head; his stepson, Matthew St. Clair of Dallas; his stepdaughter, Anna Cotton of Shelby; and his sister, Janice Head of Bostic.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heart of The Foothills Animal Rescue, 380 US Highway 221 North, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of cremation service for Mr. Head.
